Education
In central region of Uganda especially in eastern Buganda in districts of Buikwe, Mukono, Kayunga as
well Buvuma islands where sugarcane growing is more and marijuana are found out that the rate of
school dropout is highly increasing day to night in primary and secondary , the rate is 90% and this calls for high intension.
Many of the children dropout of school at early age due to lack of school fees, scholastic materials, high rate of unemployment by their biological parents result into rampant poverty. Others are orphans, disadvantaged, mistreatments by parents and relatives among other factors hence school dropouts and child trafficking especially in Arab world.
As an organization, through Education, supports children with tools or equipments like books, pens

Our organization don’t just work with head centers only or teachers but also work hand in hand with
family members, relatives, community leaders, community members, leaders from district in order to
guarantee access to education.
However due to high population with in central region, as an organization we under go through a
number of challenges, problems to implement some of the programmes as stated above.
Despite of the few achievements the organization has come up with in education, a lot has not been
achieved or done due to lack of requirements, therefore as an organization , we seek for financial
support or donation or grant to;
ESTABLISH A PERMANENT PRIMARY SCHOOL(S) FOR THE ORGANIZATION IN DIFFERENT PLACES
Education is widely accepted to be a fundamental resources both for individuals and societies
indeed in most countries basic education is now days perceived not only as right but also up duty.
Governments are typically expected to ensure access to basic education while citizens are often
required by the law to attain education up to a certain basic level.
The world went through a great expansion in education over the last two centuries. This can be seen
all over quantity measures. Global literacy rates have been climbing over the course of the last two
centuries mainly through increasing rates of enrollment in primary and secondary education and
tertiary educations have also seen drastic growth, with average years of schooling being much
higher now days than a hundred years ago. Despite all these world wide improvements, some
regions are still lagging behind mainly in central where there are still areas that have illiteracy rates
below 60% among the youth.
Data on production of education shows that schooling tends to be largely financed with public
resources across the globe. Since differences in national expenditure on education do not well
explain cross-country differences in learning out comes, the data suggests that the generic policies
that rise expenditure on standard inputs such as the number of teachers are unlikely to be effective
to improve out comes. A growing body of empirical research suggests that better education yields
high, individual income and contributions towards the construction of social capital and long term
economical growth cross-country estimates of the return to education have found that the highest
returns come from primary schooling.
None the less disaggregating the results reveals that for less developed countries this is broadly but
that in the developed world the returns to a higher education tend to be greater than for primary
education.
• The objective is to provide quality education that will equip under privileged children and
children from low income families, while children from middle income families will be paying
little amounts so as to make the school to be sustainable after the support that will be provided
by the donors.
• Therefore the ministry of education, science, technology and sports in Uganda is embarking on a
huge program of educational development to ensure that each child gets best quality education.
• There are more than 3 million school-age children who are enrolled and the number is keeping
on increasing this is a huge resource for the community.
OVERVIEW OF THE REGION
• The region is located along jinja-kampala highway with in the two giant cities in Uganda. It is
found in bulo zone, kitigoma parish, najjembe division, Lugazi municipality in buikwe district
Uganda east Africa.
• Presently there are three primary schools in the area unfortunately there are highly expensive.
The above schools are profited oriented and are not offering education in charity form. By
considering education as fundamental rights for every child regardless of his or her religion,
family background, physical abilities and any other differences the new green foundation
Uganda decided to establish a nursery, pre and primary school in kitigoma to help marginalized
children and children from middle income families to have access to quality education as the
children from rich families get moreover this school shall not be a business oriented it will a
charity school.
LIFE STANDARDS OF THE COMMUNITY MEMBERS IN THE REGION
• Historically the region is characterized by equatorial climate which has enhanced rainfall
modification and favorable temperature which has accounted to high population growth rate
since people participate in a number of activities especially agriculture, lumbering due to
presence of forests, surrounding water bodies, there is also fishing, trade and commerce among
others. However it is too unfortunate to lament that all above activities are owned by foreigners
who later repatriates profits back to their countries leaving many community members in
unemployment status, poverty etc therefore, the inhabitants lives in severe poverty, high crime
rates, school dropouts. Therefore the children suffer much since they are starving and don’t
have access to quality education.
• Many children have resorted to early marriages, street beggars, pick pocketers participating in
petty activities.
• Due to this TNGFU aimed at constructing a nursery, pre and primary school so as to help people
of poor, low and middle income children have access education so as in future we expect to
eradicate poverty to our community since the obtained knowledge, skills and attitude to
graduate children will be used to solve all challenges.

Many children in this area are at a high risk of dropout since they receive poor education others
do not attend school due to social and economical challenges, they can not support themselves
for quality education.

sustained, TNGFU effort is to reduce the risk of dropouts, enable the children achieve
improvements in their lives and open more opportunities for other unfortunate children in the
future.

lab, underground water tanks, staff quarters and preparation of school environment to
accommodate under privileged children among other items.
- PROJECT JUSTIFICATION
The right to education as reflected in the Ugandan constitution mandates free and compulsory primary education, but a lack of resources and education infrastructures has made implementation difficult especially in the societies in the region. Although we acknowledge that the government of Uganda has made good investments in education, providing public school education for all children, training more qualified teachers and an established curriculum. However, despite all the progress made,Government of Uganda still has a long way to meet the global standards in education, economic development and sustainability. Its growth is out spacing the infrastructures, communities suffer from overcrowding, poor sanitation, low wages, high rates of poverty, unemployment which give reasons to young Ugandans to dropout from school and travel back way to seek for education and job opportunities in Europe and Arab countries. Unfortunately, some of them do not sustain the journey while others end up missing up their lives.
Currently there are many over crowded class rooms especially in rural areas, a shortage of school furniture and learning materials which are hindering the effective delivery of basic education in those areas. As literacy, international languages such as English, information communication technology (ICT) and education levels increases in the population the demand for better quality-learning environments become necessary. Those are some of the reasons why TNGFU wish to seek financial assistance from individual , non profit organization (NGOS), philanthropists, ordinary and friends in and outside Uganda to implement the establishment of a nursary pre and primary school.
- PROJECT MANAGEMENT
The TNGFU will mange the project, this will be done by hiring an experienced local construction manager to supervise the construction crew along with the stake holders at the ministry of education and sports (MOES) who will be responsible for the implementation of the project, the project coordinators will be reporting to the TNGFU office in our head quarters in kitigoma ward where a centrally compiled report would be sent to the donors and stake holders by the project manager.
- PROJECT MONITORING AND EVALUATION
A variety of formal and informal monitoring and evaluation mechanisms will be central ensuring the appropriate delivery of effective and sustainable services. These will include multi indicator cluster surveys, class performance surveys, class attendance data girl-boy retention data and exist surveys.
SOURCES OF FUNDS
TNGFU is requesting to individual(s), non government- organization (NGOS), association and other charity organization to fund this school project. The donor (s) is are asked to fund the all total amount requested or to contributes any amount to build as well as other equipment that makes the school to be in existance as indicated in our budget. Any contribution to finish a certain building will be given priority. Also , TNGFU is ready to allow funder (S) or donors to visit the site and give them the mandate to co-operate with the TNGFU, school construction team to see how to go about this project.
CURRICULUM
The opening and closing of the school will be depending on the government calendar for both private and government schools.
Also the school will be following the Uganda national curriculum prepared by the ministry of education and sports, where by pre school subjects plus primary subjects e.g. mathematics, English, social studies science, among others shall be taught. There shall be also co-curricular activities like music dance and drama, foot ball purposely to promote pupils talents
THE SCHOOL SUB DIVISIONS AND DEPARTMENTS
The school shall be sub divided into 2 sections namely : early child section (nursery and primary 1-2 classes], Mid and upper primary school 3- classes, each section shall have it’s own head, while all of them will be under the school manager. On another hand ,the school is going to have different departments in accordance with subjects to be tought at the school which comprised of luganda , English ,science , technology ,ICT, mathematics, social studies, Games and sports, music and drama, counseling, and guidance respectively.
- SUSTANAIBILITY OF THE PROJECT.
TNGFU will continue to work with ministry of education and other stake holders to build on this capacity while also working closely with international development partners working on educational programs in Uganda and outside uganda. TNGFU will develop a memorandum of understanding with the ministry of education which will clarify each partner’s roles and responsibilities both short time and long run.
The TNGFU will also work with residents in the community to develop the capacities of individuals to play an active role in governance and delivery of education in schools.
Parents association (PA) will be formed to co-operate with the TNGFU to ensure the school’s future sustainability.
