Our Achievements

TNGFU  has been mainly conducting activities in the field of youth development and empowerment as well as social development, education, health etc. the major activities that TNGFU has completed are:

Prevalence of sexual gender based violence and domestic violence prevention through mobilization, sensitization, and grass roots door to door outreaches, seminars, workshops, counseling and guidance to the point that families are united.

Apart from above, TNGFU has been actively engaging in regular programs such as health camps, awareness programs, behavior change in youth, etc. it collaborates with the relevant stakeholders in conducting such programs/activities. Similarly, there is another area where it gets involved in school health programs and it provided entrepreneurial skills and knowledge as well as awareness to school children on various health related topics like sanitation, personal hygiene, HIV, drug addiction reproductive health etc.

TNGFU has successfully managed to achieve through implementing life skilled projects in
youth especially teen mothers, adolescent youth and other categories of people in
carpentry work, craft work, cosmetology, confectionary, pads among others primarily to
make them job creator than job seeker hence controlling unemployment and poverty

COMMUNITY OUTREACHES.

The mission behind as why TNGFU carryout community outreaches in different localities is to improve the lives of people together with vulnerable communities state welfare to the following categories of people; Girls,  women, teen mothers, adolescent youth, elders, orphans, widows, disadvantaged ones among other categories of people.

As long as we are willing, there is no limit to what we can do to serve people. It is for this reason as why TNGFU carries out outreaches as a way of serving all places to bring hope to hopeless ones.

With our community outreaches, we reach out to various categories of people both in rural areas and urban areas to empower them with various aspects of life. After identifying such communities, we avail them with education and sensitization programs to improve their standards of living

These outreaches are in the form of school outreaches, health camps, hospital outreaches, door to door (grass root) mobilization and sensitization on various issues as our thematic areas are, and outreaches to elders, sick people in there homes among others.

These outreaches have strengthened broken families by re-uniting and reconcile the divorced partners, encouraging school dropouts to go back to school, how to conserve environment among other aspect

 

WHAT IS NEEDED

 

Though the organization is serving community people, it is too unfortunate to say that all programs are being done and implemented out side due to lack of office and its equipment.

The  office .which we rent is two rooms 12fts by length and 11fts by width each, which is too small to accommodate all  services yet we have one laptop which a times freezes hence not operating.

Furthermore, we face challenges in renting venues to implement our programs to people like community hall, school halls, etc therefore it is our request to pay attention for this matter!
