About The New Green Foundation.
THE NEW GREEN FOUNDATION UGANDA (TNGFU) is an independent, non-profit, community based organization (CBO) and non-political or religious organization established to advocate for the protectionof human rights, save, and improve lives of most vulnerable, poorest and marginalized families affected by poverty or crisis, eradicating poverty and empower women and children to reach their full potential including boys to an extent.
TNGFU has been established in buikwe district ,central region in Uganda on 13th/June/2014 with the purpose of protecting human rights, saving and improving lives, building resiliency and creating lasting solutions to extreme poverty, illiteracy and ignorance (inequality) empowering youth, women, (teen mothers), children to reach their full potential.
TNGFU has become a strong network member of youth empowerment, the Girl generation, women thrive, Girl Not Bride, prevent child/human trafficking. Africa GBV and domestic violence prevention network, promote games and sports especially football, netball music dance and drama, Global climate change and health alliance. Therefore TNGFU is an ambassador at large for youth, women, children even boys and also active member of education, protection, food security and climate.

To build and establish a solid organization that handles life values, skills and empowering the community in capacity building and developing finance in order to eradicate poverty.

Our Team

Kivumbi Richard
Co founder
He is a co-founder of the organization and the president as well. He is a teacher by profession from Kyambogo University with a degree in education in History and Geography with experience of 15 years in the field of education. He is capable of managing and administering the organization at all levels, currently he serves as a teacher as well one of the administrators (DOS), he also funds some project activities in their implementation as well field officers, chair meetings, managing resources as well supervises activities of the project with 85% of the level of effort on working schedule.

Nakibuuka Juliet
vice chairperson
She is one of the co-founders of the organization and a vice president as well. She is a teacher by profession from Makerere University with a degree in education in Divinity and Geography, a diploma in counselling and guidance from Makerere University with experience of 19 years in the field. She helps to finance some activities, searching for children in need of education, youth, teen mothers etc. with 70% of level of efforts on individual working on schedule

Nabirye eunice
Treasurer
She holds a diploma in finance, balancing of books of accounts as well treasuring, saving funds for all members of the organization. She has an experience of six years in the field with 65% of level of efforts on individual working schedule In summary, the innovation comprises 35 staff members, 6 board members and 11 non-teaching staff members but all qualified in their fields or calls.

Mutonyi catherine
Secretary
She is a secretariat by profession with a diploma from Makerere business school with experienced of 10 years in the field. Being a general secretary, she has been good in organizing meetings, recording minutes, drawing agenda in consultation with the president with 60% of level of effort on individual working schedule.

ssalongo kiiza daniel
Lc2 chairman
He is the chairperson LC11 Kitigoma ward where the organization is being implemented. He has helped in sustaining the innovation’s activities, searching for students to go back to school through community meetings, door to door outreaches, mobilization and sensitization.

mawerere vincent
committee member
He is an educationist trained from Kyambogo University holding a degree in counseling and guidance from Makerere University. He is a teacher by profession with experience of 20 years in the field and he is the incoming head teacher of the ongoing established school with 70% of level of efforts on individual working schedule.
